Welcome to my lickle space: A Nomad's Journey Through Pride, HIV, and Sex

Hi, I'm Jim. A 40-something nomad extraordinaire hailing from Lincolnshire. I talk a lot, but mostly about three things: Pride, HIV, and sex. My love for life is infectious, my care for others inherent, and my desire to have the best time at any time is my driving force. Join me as I share my unique perspectives and experiences.

Unfiltered stories from a life well-lived

I've worked on gay scenes up and down the country since before I was "legally" allowed to, been a part of the pride movement since 2000, and lived with HIV since 2008. I'm also exceptionally sex-positive, having worked as a sex worker, managed sex-on-premises venues, and appeared in pre-dotcom-boom photography and films. Expect honest, insightful and thought provoking content.

Come, come, come into my world

Delve deeper into the subjects closest to my heart and discover a unique perspective shaped by personal experience and passion. From advocacy to candid reflections, there's always something thought-provoking to read.

About this space

QueerlyJim.uk is more than just a blog; it's a platform for authentic stories, raw experiences, and passionate advocacy. I'm here to challenge perceptions, inspire conversations, and build a more understanding and accepting world. Join the journey and be a part of the QueerlyJim community.

HIV and me

Living with HIV since 2008,.diagnosed in early 2009, has been a journey of challenges and triumphs. Here, I share my personal story, insights, and advocate for understanding and destigmatisation.

Pride through the years

Having been part of the Pride movement since 2000, I've witnessed its evolution. Join me as I reflect on its history, its impact, and its future.

Let's talk about sex, baby

From sex worker to manager of sex-on-premises venues, my journey has made me exceptionally sex-positive. I champion open conversations and healthy sexual expression.

A life lived loudly and proudly

From my early days on the gay scene to my current nomadic adventures, every experience has shaped who I am. I believe in living authentically, sharing my truth, and inspiring others to do the same. This website is a testament to that belief.
